REA W.F.C.
is delighted to announce the beginning of its collaboration with Lindsey Chau,
who becomes another important addition to our squad ahead of the 2026–27
season.
The
22-year-old footballer from the United States (born January 15, 2004; height:

to use both her right and left foot with equal confidence and effectiveness.
She is a
player with outstanding technical ability, high football intelligence, and
significant creative qualities. Lindsey stands out for her precise passing, her
ability in one-on-one situations, her intelligent off-the-ball movement, and
her quality finishing with both feet.
Lindsey
Chau joins REA after an excellent four-year career at the University of San
Francisco in NCAA Division I soccer. During her final season, she served as
team captain, making 18 starts while recording 3 goals and 2 assists, earning
selection to the All-WCC Second Team.
Overall,
during her collegiate career, she appeared in 73 matches, scoring 12 goals and
providing 9 assists, establishing herself as one of the program's most
consistent and productive players.
In
addition, she has earned significant individual and team distinctions,
competing in some of the highest-level youth development competitions in the
United States and representing Legends FC, one of the country's most recognized
soccer academies.
The entire
REA family welcomes Lindsey Chau to Rethymno and wishes her health, strength,
and many successes wearing our club's colors.
LINDSEY
CHAU: “REA IS THE PLACE WHERE I CAN GROW AND SUCCEED”
"I
decided to move to Rethymno because I was looking for a fresh start in both my
life and my football career. The rich history of the city, along with REA's
vision and philosophy, immediately inspired me and earned my respect.
Through my
discussions with head coach Gianna Douka and by learning about the style of
play she wants the team to implement, I realized that this is an environment
where I can contribute and continue to develop.
REA already
appears to have an excellent family atmosphere and strong bonds among everyone
involved with the team, and that is something that excites me greatly. I am
looking forward to becoming part of this united effort.
My goal for
the new season is to help the team compete for and win titles, while also
continuing to develop as a professional player. I truly believe that REA is the
right place for me to achieve these goals and for all of us to experience
successful and memorable moments together."
