REA hosts PAOK on Sunday (16/11 – 14:00) at the
Sochora Stadium for the 8th matchday of the Women’s First Division.
Our team is preparing for a very tough battle against
the league leaders, who remain undefeated. It’s the kind of match every player
wants to experience, as defender Anela Nigito also emphasized in her
statements, noting that teamwork can make the difference.
“*The next match is very important for us as a team.
We’ve been improving every week, and facing PAOK gives us the opportunity to
show the identity we’re building together. Every player feels the
responsibility but also the excitement, because this is the kind of game where
our teamwork and character can really stand out.*
*Our recent victory strengthened our confidence in what
we can achieve when we work together. We know how strong PAOK is, but we trust
our preparation and the effort each player puts in. As a team, we feel ready
for such a demanding match.*
*For us, the key will be staying connected as a team,
defending as one unit, and attacking with purpose. PAOK is a very strong
team—the numbers show that—but this is soccer. Once we step on the pitch, we’re
all the same. The team that wants it more and pays attention to the small
details is the one that wins. If we stay focused and trust each other in every
moment, we can achieve a positive result*”.
