A MEANINGFUL MEETING BETWEEN AO REA AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF RETHYMNO

A MEANINGFUL MEETING BETWEEN AO REA AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF RETHYMNO

In a warm
and highly constructive atmosphere, the management of A.O. REA held a
courtesy meeting with the Mayor of Rethymno, Mr. Giorgis Marinakis, and
the Deputy Mayor for Education and Sports, Mr. Nikos Provias, at the
Rethymno Town Hall.

Representing
REA were the club's President Iraklis Manoukarakis, Board Member and
Head of the Public Relations Committee Gavriil Tsountanis, Vice
President and Head of Sporting Affairs Eirini Drakaki, Board Member and
Public Relations Officer Giorgos Tsongas, Technical Director & Head
of Scouting Antonis Platis, who also serves as Academy Director,
Goalkeeping Coach and Performance Analyst, as well as Press Officer Nikos
Tzanidakis.

During the
meeting, the representatives of REA presented the work the club has
accomplished over the past few years, highlighting the team's established
presence in the Greek Women's First Division and its important role as
one of the leading ambassadors of Rethymno sports on a national level. Special
emphasis was also placed on the systematic work carried out within the club's
academy, the continuous development of women's football, and the opportunities
created for hundreds of young girls to become involved in the sport.

For their
part, Mayor Giorgis Marinakis and Deputy Mayor for Education and Sports Nikos
Provias acknowledged the significant contribution REA has made to local
sport and to promoting Rethymno throughout Greece. They also expressed their
willingness to continue working closely with the club and to provide every
possible support within the Municipality's capabilities.

Particular
emphasis was placed on the stadium issue, which was the main topic of the
meeting. Both sides agreed that REA will relocate to Gallos Stadium for the
upcoming season, which will become the club's new home ground, meeting the
increased requirements of competing in the Greek Women's First Division.
Before the move is finalized, however, the necessary technical works will be
carried out at the venue, including improvements to the floodlight towers and
other required infrastructure upgrades, in order to complete the stadium's
licensing process and ensure that it fully complies with all the requirements
for hosting official league matches during the new season.
