With words filled with emotion, sincerity, and love for REA,
Stelios Kozanidis bid farewell to the team following the conclusion of the
cooperation between the two sides. The experienced coach, who linked his name
with an important period in the club’s history and contributed decisively to
shaping the team’s competitive identity, spoke from the heart about the bond he
built with REA, the players, the management, and everyone within the club,
emphasizing that he will always feel like a member of this family.
“I would like to wholeheartedly thank the management of REA
— Iraklis Manoukarakis, Chrysa Kallitsounaki, Giorgos Tsogkas, Roula Leledaki,
Giorgos Synolakis, Eirini Drakaki, Konstantinos Drymakis, Manolis Manoukarakis,
Ioanna Sarri-Balasi — my assistants Antonis Platis and Andreas Drygiannakis,
the medical staff, and all the football players with whom I worked throughout
this period. We shared many beautiful, intense, and unique moments together,
and I truly feel that I became part of this family. That is the truth.
From the very first moment, I formed a strong bond with the
team and its people. Every day there was an atmosphere of trust, respect, and
cooperation, something that made our work even more enjoyable. I had an
excellent collaboration with all the athletes, and I want to thank them for the
effort, professionalism, and dedication they showed throughout this entire
period.
REA is a club built on healthy foundations, with people who
genuinely love what they do, and a team that has managed to create its own
unique identity in Women’s Football. I am happy to have been part of this
journey, and I truly believe the team has even greater potential and a very
bright future ahead.
I leave full of beautiful emotions, carrying strong moments,
human relationships, and many memories that will always stay with me. From the
bottom of my heart, I wish REA health and every success, and I will always feel
