Maria Kelaidi spoke about REA’s difficult away match against
OFI at VAK, as part of the 19th matchday of the Women’s First Division.
The REA footballer highlighted the team’s preparation, the
importance of staying focused after the break in competitive action, and the
major goal of maintaining 3rd place in the standings.
“*We know that a difficult game awaits us against OFI, a
very good and competitive team. We have prepared properly during this period
and we will go into the match determined to give 100% of our abilities. If we
remain focused and apply our game plan, I believe we can get the result, just
as we managed to do in our match against them in the Cup.*
*After a long break there is always a small question mark
about how teams will perform on the pitch. However, we worked well throughout
this period and our goal is to start the match strongly and with full
concentration from the first minute, showing the level of performance we want.*
*Third place is a very important target for us. If we
manage to achieve it, it will be a great and historic success for the team.
Nevertheless, our philosophy does not change. We take each game separately, we
work hard, and at the end of the season we want to have achieved our goal*.”
