REA is
gearing up for its debut in the Greek Cup, entering the competition from the
3rd round, where the 16 best teams in the country compete. Our team will face
OFI at VAK on Wednesday, December 10, at 15:00.
REA’s
performance in last year’s Cup was impressive, reaching the semifinals of the
tournament. There, however, the team faced the eventual double-winning AEK,
being eliminated after a 1-3 home defeat and a 1-1 draw away.
The
upcoming match is a knockout fixture, and if the game ends in a draw during
regular time, it will go straight to a penalty shootout. If REA progresses, the
team will participate in the draw for the tournament’s quarterfinals.
