REA
football players Kallia Vorria and Eirini Manoukaraki enjoyed a special and
smile-filled experience as they visited the 13th Primary School of Rethymno,
happily accepting the invitation of the school's teachers.
The visit
took place as part of the school newspaper project produced by the second-grade
students. The two athletes from our team participated as interview guests,
sharing their experiences from football, the life of an athlete, and their
daily routine at REA with the children.
The young
journalists had prepared their own questions and eagerly took the opportunity
to speak with the players, showing great interest and enthusiasm. The
discussion was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with the children
expressing their love for sports and football.
The
activity continued in the schoolyard, where the students had the opportunity to
play football alongside Kallia Vorria and Eirini Manoukaraki, enjoying unique
moments of play, fun, and sporting interaction.
At the end
of the visit, the REA players signed autographs and posed for photographs with
the children. They were also deeply touched to receive the beautiful and highly
creative drawings that the students had prepared especially for them and for
our team.
We would
like to extend our sincere thanks for the wonderful hospitality to the school
principal, Mrs. Marina Souka, the physical education teacher, Mrs. Mairy
Katsourou, as well as the teachers Mrs. Chryssoula Stratidakis, Mrs. Maria
Sortsi, Mrs. Eleftheria Tzortzinaki, and Mrs. Sofia Alexandraki for their
initiative, excellent organization, and the warm welcome they offered to the
REA family.
