The
countdown to a special evening for R.E.A. and women’s football in Rethymno has
begun.

Enosi Athliton – R.E.A. invites the people of Rethymno to the official presentation event of
its Women’s Football Team for the 2026-27 season, which will take place
on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Unknown Soldier’s Square in Rethymno,
with activities beginning at 6:30 p.m.
In a special evening filled with football, music, familiar
faces and… paREΑ (togetherness), R.E.A. will present its new team to the
people of Rethymno, as the club prepares to compete for another season in the Greek
Women’s First Division.
The public will have the opportunity to meet each and every
one of R.E.A.’s players for the 2026-27 season, as well as the new coaching
staff, led by the team’s new head coach, Gianna Douka.
A special highlight of the evening will be the presentation
of R.E.A.’s official match jersey for the 2026-27 season, with AVIN, a
Motor Oil Group company, serving as the team’s official jersey sponsor for
the new season.
The event will be hosted by two distinguished journalists
from sport24.gr, Vasiliki Karamouza and Charis Stavrou,
who will coordinate the official part of the evening and add their own
distinctive touch to the presentation of the new R.E.A.
The program will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the arrival
of the public and the operation of a specially designed area featuring football
activities and surprises for children and adults alike. At 8:00 p.m.,
the official part of the event will begin, featuring greetings, honorary awards
and the presentation of the team.
Following the presentation of the players and coaching
staff, the evening will continue with music by DJ Goniotis. R.E.A. fans
will also have the opportunity to visit the team’s specially designed stands,
learn more about R.E.A., become members of our paREΑ, purchase
membership cards and official team merchandise, as well as take photos with the
players and get their autographs.
