R.E.A. is
pleased to announce the beginning of its collaboration with footballer
Christina Kanellou for the 2025–2026 season.
Christina,
born on December 17, 1999, and originally from Mykonos, is a versatile
attacking player capable of playing in all offensive positions. A natural
left-footer with excellent control of her right foot as well, she combines
high-level technique, speed, and a strong scoring instinct.
With
extensive experience abroad, Christina played for five years in the U.S.
college league, representing Sierra College (2017–2019) and the University of
Hawaiʻi at Hilo (2019–2021), winning two championships (2018, 2021). She has
also received significant individual accolades, including selection to the
league's Best XI (2018, 2020) and being the 2nd top scorer of the year in 2018
(13 goals / 3 assists), while in 2019 she recorded 12 goals and 9 assists.
Upon her
return to Greece, she strengthened Mykonos FC (2022–2023), where she was the
team's top scorer (14 goals / 5 assists). She then joined Panathinaikos
(2023–2024), where she stood out as the top scorer in the Greek Cup and second
overall scorer for the season (15 goals / 4 assists), and last year she wore
the jersey of Asteras Tripolis (2024–2025).
Christina
brings a powerful boost to R.E.A.’s attacking line, and we are confident that
her experience, talent, and passion will be a valuable asset to our team's
