REA WFC will host reigning double winners AEK on Saturday,
October 18, at 13:45, at the Episkopi Stadium, for Matchday
5 of the Greek Women’s First Division Championship.
The match will be broadcast live on ERT2 Sports.
It is expected to be a highly demanding encounter against a
very strong and quality opponent. However, REA remains focused on its
objectives and fully prepared to give 100% in pursuit of a positive result in
front of its home supporters.
Speaking ahead of the match, REA’s head coach Stelios
Kozanidis stated:
“We have a very difficult game ahead of us against the
double winners, AEK. The level of difficulty is high, but we’ll give 100% of
our effort to get a positive result.
The previous negative outcome doesn’t change anything for us. We continue with
the same rhythm and the same commitment. It was expected that at some point we
would face a defeat; we analyze our mistakes and work constantly to improve.
We know we can compete with any team. Traditionally, matches against AEK are
beautiful and highly competitive. We expect a strong derby — a quality match
between two very good teams.”
