REA is gearing up for a derby atmosphere, as on Saturday,
April 4 (13:45), they host Panathinaikos at the Episkopi Stadium “Th.
Vardinogiannis,” as part of the 22nd matchday of the Women’s First Division. It
is a highly demanding match, with our team aiming to return to positive
results, relying on its playing identity as well as the support of its fans.
REA’s head coach, Stelios Kozanidis, spoke about the
importance of the match, emphasizing the need for concentration, belief, and
avoiding mistakes against a particularly strong opponent like Panathinaikos.
“*The key is the determination and belief we show in order to
achieve victory. We must not repeat the mistakes we made in previous matches
because Panathinaikos is a quality team that does not forgive. We have to
believe in winning for it to come.*
*We want the fans close to us. It’s a derby against a big
club. We have shown an excellent face throughout the championship, and we
expect an exciting game between two very good teams.*”
