REA return
to their home ground on Sunday (March 22 – 13:00), where they will host Kifisia
at Sochora for the 20th round of the Greek Women’s First Division.
Our team is
looking to put behind the two narrow defeats against AEK and OFI and get back
to positive results, in a match that presents challenges against a strong
opponent. REA head coach Stelios Kozanidis highlighted Kifisia’s quality, as
well as his team’s need to respond and take advantage of playing at home:
“*We are
facing a very good and demanding team. Kifisia are playing without pressure and
have been delivering consistently good performances, which shows their quality.*
*From our
side, we want to show a reaction after the two narrow defeats against AEK and
OFI. Our goal is clear: to return to winning ways against a quality opponent,
despite the absences we have.*
*This is
a home game and that is very important. The girls have proven their value
throughout the season and we believe in our abilities. We approach this match
like any other, with focus and seriousness, aiming to be 100% ready for the
demands of the game and to continue in the same direction until the end of the
season*.”
