STELIOS KOZANIDIS: “WE HAD AN EXCELLENT FIRST HALF, THE GOALS CAME FROM OUR OWN MISTAKES”

“First of
all, I want to congratulate both teams. We had an excellent first half, where
we were fully dominant, with very good pressing and proper game management,
managing to score two goals.

In the
second half, we knew we would face more pressure from Kifisia. However, the
goals we conceded came from our own mistakes. The first came early, in a phase
where we had possession, and the second was similar—something I believe we
could have avoided, even with a simple foul.

We had
significant absences, such as Kanellou, English, and Nikopoulou, and Vorria
also played with an issue. When you don’t have options on the bench, it becomes
harder to manage such situations, as you can’t ‘refresh’ the team.
Nevertheless, I believe this was a game we could have won.

That’s
football. We must learn from our mistakes and move forward. Kifisia is a very
quality team, and I wish them the best going forward.”

ANGELIKI
PANTERI: “WE WERE CAUGHT OFF GUARD IN THE SECOND HALF AND PAID FOR OUR
MISTAKES”

“Congratulations
to both teams. I believe we were caught off guard in the second half. We didn’t
come in with the same intensity and concentration, and we conceded two goals
from our own mistakes.

Overall, we
had possession and created chances, but we could have managed our lead better
and held onto it until the end.

Our
philosophy doesn’t change. In every match, we go in aiming for the win. We will
go to Thessaloniki to fight for all three points, and if we don’t succeed, at
least not leave empty-handed.”

DIMITRIS
BENETATOS: “IN THE SECOND HALF WE SHOWED CHARACTER AND COULD HAVE COMPLETED THE
COMEBACK”

“First of
all, I want to congratulate my players. Our performance in the second half was
much improved, and I believe we could have even completed a full comeback. The
result leaves us with mixed feelings.

At
halftime, I asked them to stick to the plan and tried to lift them
psychologically, as we had conceded two easy goals. The important thing is that
they reacted and managed the situation well.

From the
first moment I joined the team, I saw a group that believes in its abilities.
We are trying to work on a tactical level to build a new playing identity, and
I believe that over time we will achieve it, because we have experienced and
quality players.”

CHARA
DIMITRIOU: “THE FIRST HALF BELONGED TO REA, THE SECOND TO US”

“The first
half belonged to REA, while the second belonged to us. I believe we were also a
bit unlucky, because we could have completed the comeback. Nevertheless, we
leave with a positive result.

We knew we
were not satisfied with our performance in the first half, and the coach gave
us a boost during the break. We relied on the plan we had worked on all week
and managed to respond.

I believe
the quality of our team is not fully reflected in the standings. However, I
think that in the upcoming matches we will manage to get the points we
deserve.”
