REA’s U17 team got off to an ideal start in 2026, defeating Ergotelis 1–0 at Martinengo, as part of the Panhellenic Women’s U17 Championship.
The only goal of the match was scored by Despina Pantalaki after a fine assist from Kosse, giving our team the lead in a fast-paced game with plenty of chances. REA then created several opportunities to “seal” the victory but was unable to extend the scoreline.
In the 54th minute, Ergotelis were awarded a penalty, but Balasi said “no,” saving the spot kick and keeping the score at 1–0 in a decisive moment of the match.
