A.O. REA is delighted to announce the beginning of its
collaboration with Myrto Axiarli, who will strengthen our squad ahead of the
2026–27 season.
The young international footballer (born on August 22, 2008)
plays on the wings and is regarded as one of the most promising players of her
generation. She stands out for her pace, her ability in one-on-one situations,
her finishing quality, and her creativity in setting up scoring opportunities
for her teammates.
Myrto Axiarli took her first major footballing steps with
Panserraikos, where she spent five years, gaining valuable experience in both
the Greek Second and Third National Divisions. During one of her most
productive seasons, she recorded 14 goals and 11 assists, further highlighting
her outstanding attacking talent. Last season, she successfully represented
OFI.
Despite her young age, she has already gained significant
experience with Greece’s national teams. In 2022, she participated with the
Greece U17 Women’s National Team in an international tournament in Albania,
where she registered her first three assists for the national side. This was
followed by appearances in development tournaments in Romania and Slovakia in
2023, friendly matches in Northern Ireland with the Greece U19 Women’s National
Team in 2024, and international fixtures in Serbia and Poland in 2026 as part
of the UEFA Women’s U19 European Championship qualifying campaign.
We welcome Myrto Axiarli to the REA family and wish her good
health, strength, and many successes wearing our club’s colors.
MYRTO AXIARLI: “REA TRUSTED ME FROM THE VERY FIRST
MOMENT”
“My decision to join REA was actually a very easy one. From
the very first moment, the people at the club showed me how much they wanted me
and how strongly they believed in my abilities.
The interest and trust I received played a decisive role in
my choice. From our very first conversations, I realized that REA’s philosophy,
way of operating, and ambitions perfectly match my own dreams and aspirations
as a footballer.
I am extremely happy to now be part of this team, and I
cannot wait to start working with my new teammates. This is an important
challenge in my career and a great opportunity for me to continue developing
through hard work and a highly competitive environment.
The fact that the club believed in me and chose me from the
very beginning gives me even greater motivation to work hard and help REA
achieve its goals in the upcoming season.”
