REA will
travel to Tripoli in the coming hours, where on Wednesday (13:30) they will
face Asteras Tripolis at the Panarkadikos Municipal Stadium for the second leg
of the Greek Women’s Cup quarter-finals.
The upcoming match is the most important of the season for
our team, as REA look to defend the 1–0 advantage from the first leg. Speaking
about the approach and the battle for qualification, team captain Maria Kelaidi
stated: “*It is certainly one of the most important matches of the season.
It’s a Cup second leg and qualification is at stake against a very strong
opponent. Matches like this give you motivation and energy, but they also
require a clear mind. First of all, we have to be focused from the very first
minute. The 1–0 lead is a small advantage, but it doesn’t allow you to relax.*
*We must make the most of our moments in attack, because
one goal can completely change the balance of the match. With discipline,
intensity and team spirit, I believe we can secure qualification*”.
