“WE MUST SHOW WHY WE REACHED SUCH A HIGH POSITION IN THE STANDINGS”
REA is entering the final stretch of the championship, as they host Kifisia (22/3 – 13:00) in a particularly demanding match for the 20th round of the Women’s First Division. Our team aims to return to positive results while maintaining its place among the top positions in the standings, during a period where the margins are tight and every point carries special importance.
Maria Georgoula, speaking ahead of the match, emphasized the need for the team to perform with the same seriousness and consistency that has characterized it throughout the season, while also highlighting the importance of efficiency and attention to detail:
“We must show why we have reached such a high position in the standings. I believe we need to approach the game with seriousness and focus, as we always do. It is very important to have belief and maintain our rhythm, to correct the mistakes that cost us, and to be more effective in the crucial moments of the match—especially in more competitive games that are decided by small details.
Our goal is always to get what we deserve by playing proper football. We have a tough schedule to manage; however, we have shown our competitiveness in these types of matches and how consistent we are with our plan. It is important to maintain our good form until the end, given that the teams are close in the standings and positions can change at any moment.”
