REA were
held to a 1–1 draw against Volos NPS at the “Olga Vasdeki” Stadium, in a match
with few clear chances, decided mainly by physical play and duels, with our
team largely controlling the game.
REA secured
another positive result on a difficult away ground and could even have taken
all three points, as they had full control of proceedings in the second half.
Stelios Kozanidis’ players pressed high, circulated the ball well and created
promising situations, but were unable to break down the well-organized defense
of the hosts.
With this
result, REA remained in 5th place in the standings with 20 points, while also
extending their unbeaten run to five consecutive league matches and six in
total, including the Cup.
In the next
round, our team will be awarded a walkover victory (three points) against the
withdrawn Acharnaiakos, and will return to action on Matchday 13, when they
will face Asteras Tripolis away, on Saturday, January 11, 2026.
