DESPOINA PANTALAKI: THE NEXT STEP TO THE FIRST TEAM

R.E.A. A.O. is delighted to announce the promotion of Despoina
Pantalaki to the Women’s First Team, with the young footballer now becoming
a permanent member of our squad competing in the Greek Women’s First Division.

Despoina Pantalaki is yet another product of the R.E.A.
Academy taking the next important step in her football journey, confirming the
outstanding work that has been carried out in our club’s youth development
system over recent years. Born on January 6, 2010, the young athlete plays as a
right winger and is considered one of the most talented and promising young
footballers from Rethymno in her age group.

With her pace and strong work ethic, she has already stood
out through her performances, and her future rightfully belongs at the highest
level of women’s football.

Her inclusion in the first team is also a personal decision
of R.E.A.’s new head coach, Gianna Douka, who strongly believes in her
talent, abilities, and long-term potential. Through daily training, proper
guidance, and the experience she will gain in the Women’s First Division,
Despoina Pantalaki has all the qualities needed to continue her development and
become an important part of R.E.A.’s future.

The entire R.E.A. family wishes Despoina good health,
strength, and many successes wearing our team’s jersey.

DESPOINA PANTALAKI: “R.E.A. IS NOT JUST A TEAM, IT IS A
FAMILY”

“I am extremely proud to be part of a club like R.E.A. For
me personally, R.E.A. is not simply a team, but a real family that trusts us,
supports us, and helps us every day to develop and improve—not only as
footballers, but also as individuals and, above all, as people.

My goals for the new season are to continue improving every
day as a player, so that I can help the team as much as possible and meet the
demands of competing in the Women’s First Division.”
