R.E.A.
W.F.C. is delighted to announce the renewal of its cooperation with Yolanda
Bonnin, who will continue wearing our team’s jersey for the upcoming season.
The Spanish
attacking midfielder (born on October 17, 1997) was one of the most important
football personalities of R.E.A. this season, offering quality, creativity, and
substance to our team’s game. With her excellent technical ability, football
intelligence, and capacity to control the tempo of a match, she managed to
stand out in the championship.
Yolanda
Bonnin possesses great talent, outstanding ball control, and an excellent shot,
which provided R.E.A. with several spectacular goals throughout the season. At
the same time, her contribution in the creative aspect of the game proved
decisive, as she finished the league campaign with 4 goals and 6 assists —
numbers that reflect only part of her overall contribution on the pitch.
Her stay is
a particularly important development for R.E.A., as the club retains one of the
team’s highest-quality footballers and a key pillar of its competitive core
ahead of the new season.
The entire
R.E.A. family wishes Yolanda health, strength, and even greater success while
wearing our team’s colors.
YOLANDA
BONNIN: “R.E.A. MADE ME WANT TO STAY FOR A SECOND YEAR”
“I am very
happy to renew my cooperation for a second consecutive season, and I feel that
it is the best decision I could have made.
We had a
very good year together, and I am already looking forward to the next one. It
is the first time in my football career that I feel so certain about wanting to
stay with the same club for a second consecutive season.
The reason
is simple: here, we have created a real family. We have built an excellent team
both on and off the pitch, and this balance is very important, especially when
you are far away from your home country.
I am
already excited for the new season. I believe that R.E.A. has an ambitious plan
and that together we can achieve great things. On a personal level, I want to
help the team achieve its goals and contribute even more with goals, assists,
and overall with my presence on the field.”
